Cheng Yeap Group is a fast-growing and ever-expanding company.

In 1979, CHENG YEAPSDN.BHD. was born, when it opened its first factory in Taman Industri Sri Sulong, Batu Pahat, Johor. In the early days, Cheng Yeap was focused in its furniture hardware business which encompasses the distribution of furniture hardware, fitting material and accessories. Then it slowly made its way into the lacquer and coating industry through which it produces and distributes coating products for wood coating industry, enamel coating industry, plastic coating industry and automotive industry under the Asahi Coating trademark. Huge success in both industries encouraged Cheng Yeap to make further expansion into related industries.

To complete its services in the home design and furniture line, Cheng Yeap also distributes bathroom furniture and accessories of our own brand name that are displayed in our showroom in Batu Pahat, Johor. As a form of investment diversification, Cheng Yeap also runs an oil palm business in Kudat and Sandakan, Sabah.

Over the years, Cheng Yeap has proven itself by successfully surpassing every expectation and standard set; advancing from infancy to solid establishment. Its uncanny hard work, clear vision, positive attitude as well as inspired management are reflected in the momentum of its growth. Cheng Yeap now has business dealings with customers in Peninsular Malaysia and as far as the Borneo Island covering Johor, Malacca, Kelantan and Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei.

Future Plan

We foresee a potential growth in the industry with market demand multiplying every day. Therefore, we are looking to enter the international market with increased sales and  productivity to cater for a worldwide demand for our product.
